My book club, STCC Book Club, chose the fifth book in the Kings of the Castle series, King of Morgan Park, by Karen D. Bradley, to read for our March 2020 meeting. One of our members that started reading the book series first told me that, “You need to read the first book in the series to get an understanding of who the different kings are and how they fit into the overall series.”
Since I am a lover of a good book series, I decided to take her advice and read the entire series. I just completed all of the books in the Kings of the Castle series, and when I tell you all nine of the authors in this series’ books were very impressive, believe it.
I take my hat off to all of the authors. They did a great job in introducing the drama and conflict of each of the main characters in their specific book while keeping the overall drama of this who done it going until the final book. I enjoyed the stories so much I have been recommending them to other friends that like to read too. The authors did such a good job that I’m looking forward to reading some of the other books they have written.
