WHAT IS CLIFFHANGER NIGHT AT RSJ CONVENTION?

Each year a selected number of authors get a portion of their book read by a professional narrator live during this special event. It’s an excellent way for authors to gain exposure and a unique way to present their book.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR CLIFFHANGER PJ NIGHT?

Your mission as an RSJ Attendee, should you choose to accept, is to show up in your most comfortable Pajamas with your drinks and snacks ready to hear professional narrators read cliffhanger snippets from a selection of romance books.  Yes, the RSJ Cliffhanger Night is also a PJ Party.  Prizes will be given out for Best Dressed so get your curlers, night caps, and face cream ready.  Hey, this is a judge free zone….maybe.

HOW CAN I SUBMIT MY BOOK FOR CLIFFHANGER NIGHT?

If you are interested in having a cliffhanger of your book read, fill out the below form and upload your submission by July 3rd.  And remember, it’s called cliffhanger night, so pick a section of your book that will end leaving readers wanting more.  Submit no more than 1 page of an excerpt of your book that ends with a cliffhanger. Single space is not allowed and submissions that are 1.5 and more long will be eliminated from the selection of books to be read.

Please note, due to time constraints, only a limited amount of submissions will be chosen so make your cliffhanger submission good.

See you at Cliffhanger PJ Night on Friday, July 10, 2026!
