We are pleased and honored that Farrah Rochon will be our 2018 RSJ Book Lovers’ Convention Keynote speaker in Kansas City, Missouri. Farrah is an established USA Today Bestselling author of 34 books published. Her 35th novel which is part of The Holmes Brothers’ Series is titled “AWAKEN ME” was released in January 2018.
Farrah Rochon’s writing career
Farrah began her writing career while attending Xavier University in Louisiana, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. Farrah continued her education at Southwestern Louisiana University where she received a Master of Arts degree. In September 2010, Farrah joined the Harlequin Kimani Romance authors with the launch of her series that allowed her to embrace her love for sports by writing her stories about the lives of her fictional New York Sabers football team. She has been nominated for several literary awards. The second book in the Sabers series, “I’ll Catch You”, was nominated for the prestigious RITA Award given by the Romance Writers of America. The second book in her Bayou Dreams series, “Yours Forever”, was a RITA nominee in 2015. “A Forever Kind of Love”, the first book in the Bayou Dreams series, was a 2012 RT Book Reviews Reviewer’s Choice Award nominee.
What Farrah does when not focusing on her writing career
Farrah loves spending her time reading, cooking, traveling the world, visiting Walt Disney World, and catching her favorite Broadway shows, that is when she isn’t writing at her favorite coffee shop. She is a sports fanatic and she feeds her addiction to football by watching her favorite football team’s games, New Orleans Saints, on Sunday afternoons.

Not only is she an established published author she has been an active participant in RSJ Book Lovers’ Convention since 2008 and she was the host author in 2014 in New Orleans for the RSJ Conference. In 2015, Farrah won the Emma Award for Author of the Year.
