The 2024 RSJ Literary Contest Committee is looking for teachers, creative writers, editors, and avid romance book readers to help us judge the RSJ convention Emma Awards contest and the Leslie Esdaile Banks Aspiring Author Contest.  Participants receive romance books to enjoy in exchange for reading, judging, and submitting their thoughts about the books on a score sheet.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO QUALIFY:

• Must have an electronic reading device that Amazon Kindle e-books can be read on.
• Must be an avid reader capable of reading 4 romance books by the week of August 15th. (If four books are too many and you can only read two, let us know on your submission form below as you may best fit our Aspiring Author Contest instead of the RSJ Emma Awards.)
• Must not be a family member, colleague, or friend of a contest competitor.
